We are currently experiencing an issue with askmyGP.

Our practice team is unable to access requests submitted through the service, and patients are currently unable to submit new requests.

Please note our practices will be closed on Monday 31st August for the Summer bank holiday. Local pharmacies open on this day.

AskmyGP

Welcome to Howard House Surgery, part of Suffolk Primary Care.
We strive to provide high-quality, accessible care. To help us achieve this, please consider the most appropriate way to seek help before contacting the surgery.

Using askmyGP

askmyGP is available for our patients between 8:00am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday. This system allows fast and easy communication with our team without the need to wait on the phone. Please provide as much information as possible so we can direct your query to the most appropriate member of staff.

  1. All requests received during these hours are safely triaged by our Lead Clinicians and Care Coordinators.
  2. Urgent requests are prioritised. Non-urgent requests may be managed the next working day, and you will be notified via askmyGP if this is the case.
  3. If you wish to consult with a clinician, please select “Consult a clinician” once this option becomes available at 8:00am.
  4. Requests submitted outside of operating hours, on weekends, or bank holidays will be reviewed on the next working day.

Out of Hours

When the surgery is closed (after 6:30pm, weekends, and bank holidays):

  1. Use NHS 111 online or call 111 for urgent medical help(available 24/7).
  2. In a life-threatening emergency, dial 999.
